Papergirl Cluj-Napoca has started!

Cluj-Napoca has opened arms for Papergirl! We started collecting artworks at 3 main locations in Cluj-Napoca and we are very happy to collaborate with such open-minded people!
TIFF has an eye for interesting cultural projects and has spotted Papergirl right on time. We will be collecting works at Casa Tiff, the main cultural point at the moment in the city and hoping for a brilliant exhibition to follow. L'Atelier Cafe is gathering for us as well and we are looking forward to interesting workshop there, a cafe made exclusively out of recicled carton and used wooden doors. Fabrica De Pensule (The Paintbrush Factory) is supporting us with a collecting point as well!

We are excited to be part of the Papergirl network and we hope to make a good start!

Papergirl Calgary is Gearing up! only 11 days left for submissions!

Time is upon us, we are soooooo looking forward to the exhibition and giftervention, only 11 days left for submissions! We have a snappy calendar of events for all the fun stuff we are going to be doing, workshops, crafting bike bling, exhibiting, printing, gifting, it's gonna be amazing!

What's that you say? Giftervention?

	Giftervention
	An Art intervention that involves Gifting an anonymous stranger with a piece of art. The action of gifterventing has been performed over many years, but it really only came into its own when the Art Event Papergirl Berlin started random gifterventions, taking art out of the galleries and into the streets. (2005) Say it in a sentence:    I can't wait till tomorrow, the giftervention at the park is going to be so damn amazing!   This term is now officially in the Urban Dictionary, my 'giftervention' back to Papergirl Berlin for starting this Kick-Ass project! papergirl trier needs a little help

Dear papergirl friends from all over the world!
The first paper girl “Open Call” now ends on 30 June.
Unfortunately, the artists in the oldest city in germany, are a little shy and very strange and so there have not yet received enough works to make a nice distribute-tour ;-(

Perhaps one or the other artists of you want to help a lame dog over a stile ;-) I would definitely be very very grateful!!! Paper Girl Trier is organized so far only by me and alone it´s often not easy - a lot of hurdles must be overcome - but in future things will get better and better and better and better and better ;-)

It would be nice, if other papergirls (all over the world) informate about our open call in trier on there website or facebook or what ever…

Papergirl 3city*, Poland is calling for submissions of art!

The project may be joined by everybody who brings or sends their works to Instytut Kultury Miejskiej (City Culture Institute), ul. Długi Targ 39/40, 80-830 Gdańsk until 29^th May. All the works will be presented during the outdoor exhibition on Streetwaves** on 2nd of June. After the opening they will be distributed by volunteers on bicycles to random passers-by in the streets. What is important is an element of surprise! Give your art away!

Papergirl Cardiff exhibition date announced!

We are really pleased to announce that the dates for the Papergirl Cardiff artwork exhibition will be from Saturday May 26th to Sunday June 3rd. The exhibition will take place in The Printhaus print workshop in the Canton area of Cardiff. The deadline for artwork submissions is Friday 11th of May. Last year's Papergirl Cardiff was really successful so we are hoping for even more artwork submissions this year to make it even better! A total of 365 art submissions from 52 local and international artists has been received!!! Exhibition opens at the Stew Gallery next Monday 26th March and we look forward to further spreading the word of art on bicycles, Friday 6th April!

Papergirl Cardiff 2012 - Artwork Submission Date Announced

Hooray!  We have a deadline for artwork submissions!





Please submit your artwork to Papergirl Cardiff by Friday May 11th.

There are two ways you can get your artwork to us: either post to 20 Howard Street, or Cycle Training Wales (details on the blog), or drop off your work to the reception at UWIC Howard Gardens, or CTW, or The Printhaus, 70A Llandaff Road, Canton, Cardiff, UK.

Make sure you check when these drop off points are open, further details on their websites.
