THE BEST SONG ABOUT PAPERGIRL EVER!

We just wanted to share with you our video aout Papergirl, it was made in honour of Papergirl Calgary last year, but it transcends to all Paperpeople all over the world. We hope you like it!

It was created by the very talented Amy Wood (http://www.amywood.ca/). Check out her site too, she is a very soulful singer.

We hope you enjoy it and share it with EVERYONE!
Happy Papergirl times!

Much Love, Papergirl Calgary!

What's that you say? Giftervention?

	Giftervention
An Art intervention that involves Gifting an anonymous stranger with a piece of art. The action of gifterventing has been performed over many years, but it really only came into its own when the Art Event Papergirl Berlin started random gifterventions, taking art out of the galleries and into the streets. (2005) Say it in a sentence:    I can't wait till tomorrow, the giftervention at the park is going to be so damn amazing!   This term is now officially in the Urban Dictionary, my 'giftervention' back to Papergirl Berlin for starting this Kick-Ass project! Thanks  This definition is for you Aisha Ronniger!    from Sunshine & the Papergirl Calgary Peeps!

Papergirl Dublin

HELLO!

After over 2 years of thinking about making an Irish Papergirl, I have finally decided to make a move and bring Papergirl Dublin into the world.

So far, nothing is concrete. Hoping to have the exhibition and Aktion Day in June or July 2012.

There is a Tumblog, a Twitter and a Facebook page for Papergirl Dublin, if you want to follow any of them it would be great.

A submission address and deadline will be set in the next few weeks, so do check back.

For now, I'll leave you with the Papergirl Dublin poster:

It's Papergirl Cardiff Day!

It's here at last - today we are going out onto the streets of Cardiff to give away all the amazing free art sent to us!  So a quick reminder - cyclists are leaving The Printhaus in Canton at 2pm to ride through Cardiff with rolls of art, and you could be the lucky recipient of an original piece of artwork.  Don't forget to come out this afternoon and support Papergirl and join in the fun - you could end up with something beautiful to take home!

We'll be finishing near to Cardiff Castle around 3pm, and everyone is welcome to return with us to The Printhaus who are hosting the Artisan Beer Company's Micro Beer Festival today till 9pm.

See you there!
