Art should be accessible to everyone!

Taking art out of the gallery and into the streets via old-school bicycle delivery format - this is Papergirl.

What happens in a Papergirl project?

• A call for art submissions goes out to Calgary’s art community
• All artwork is exhibited (Papergirl Calgary has proudly partnered with EPCOR CENTRE for the Performing Arts)
• At the end of the exhibit all submitted works are rolled up and delivered at random by Papergirls ’n boys to the unsuspecting local Calgary community.
  The Results of Papergirl?
  Artists of all styles, genres and experience, exhibit their work together AND share it with a new ‘collector’. Papergirls ’n
  boys get some great exercise and plenty of smiles whilst gifting art. Volunteers get to know their community a bit better, AND hundreds of Calgarians make and receive fabulous works of art!

papergirl trier needs a little help

Dear papergirl friends from all over the world!
The first paper girl “Open Call” now ends on 30 June.
Unfortunately, the artists in the oldest city in germany, are a little shy and very strange and so there have not yet received enough works to make a nice distribute-tour ;-(

Perhaps one or the other artists of you want to help a lame dog over a stile ;-) I would definitely be very very grateful!!! Paper Girl Trier is organized so far only by me and alone it´s often not easy - a lot of hurdles must be overcome - but in future things will get better and better and better and better and better ;-)

It would be nice, if other papergirls (all over the world) informate about our open call in trier on there website or facebook or what ever…

Calling all Artists! Papergirl San Francisco's Call for Entries is now open! 

If you are an artist in any way, or simply feel inspired to create something for this project, we aim to encourage your artistic endeavors, hope to foster your creativity, and would love for you to participate.

You don’t have to be from the Bay Area to submit your art, we encourage local, national, and international artists to participate. We have loved what the international community has sent us in the past, we hope to continue to get great international art from all over the world, it's amazing! Happy art making and cycling everyone!

Papergirl 3city*, Poland is calling for submissions of art!

The project may be joined by everybody who brings or sends their works to Instytut Kultury Miejskiej (City Culture Institute), ul. Długi Targ 39/40, 80-830 Gdańsk until 29^th May. All the works will be presented during the outdoor exhibition on Streetwaves** on 2nd of June. After the opening they will be distributed by volunteers on bicycles to random passers-by in the streets. What is important is an element of surprise! Give your art away!
